Starting blog to try to record trip to Taiwan.
Spoke to Bridget on the phone today and shes worried that she hasn't got a computer set up and connected to the net while I'm there so I'll have to use the local net cafe. I hope all the terminals at the netcafe are not in chinese characters only or I will be very confused.

She is getting a loan of a motorbike / scooter for the stay so I can ride around - even though I don't have a motor bike license and haven't ridden one for at least 10 years. Its not working so I have to pay for repairs - but it will be cheaper than hiring one.
